Our project

Everything started in Africa...

It is during a road trip at the other end of the world, in Africa, and around a fire, that this band of friends decides to embark on this beautiful entrepreneurial adventure and engaged.

Enthused by the refreshing beers they discovered during their trip, they decided to create a Belgian version: light beers, with natural ingredients and 100% organic; thus combining their passion for nature and their convictions for an ecological approach.

When they return to Belgium, they surround themselves with expert local brewers. Together they select raw materials from organic agriculture and brew a beer without preservatives or artificial flavors. The first Ginette was born in Binche in 2009!

Adventure and nature, it is the hyphen which unites them.

These 4 amateurs of strong sensations and travels are not at their first challenge. Didier, Landscape Training, went around the world in buggy kite. Guillaume, training climber pruner, spends his free time with his paratroope club. Damien Coens, boss of many business in Belgium, and Nicolas Laporta, the trader of the band, share with their teammates a passion for travel and gliding sports.

But this adventure is much more than beer.

The motto of the founders and their teams? Every little daily victory, every step is a good opportunity to be proud of oneself. Today, the Ginette team continues to mobilize around it to carry out new projects for an ever more ginette world!

Too Good To Go

In 2021, a partnership is signed between Ginette and Too Good to Go to fight the waste. A braderie is organized at the Ginette Bar located at Luxembourg Square in Brussels.
