It was given particular attention and was skillfully brewed with three kinds of hops: Amarillo, Warrior and Columbus and one kind of yeast named “El Diablo”. The Raging Bitch pours a limpid dark orange robe topped by a thin white head. It challenges the nose with fruity and floral aromas of citrus fruits, sweet spices and yeast. Light notes of caramel are also perceptible, so is the presence of alcohol. One will taste fruity and sweet flavours. This Brewery has been responsible for outstanding recipes and beers that have become extremely rare owing to their success, but this success is often attributed to other breweries. Abbaye de ChimayThe Chimay Red Cap is a splendid amber beer. Brewed by the Cistercian monks from the Abbey of Scourmont, it is granted the title of trappist beer. That means that the monks themselves produce the beer inside the walls of the abbey. To give a fine anecdote, know that this is the oldest Chimay since the recipe has been elaborated by the Father Theodore during WWII. The result is incredible. Poured in its Chimay Beer Glass, it features an amber color with reddish copper glints and topped by a firm and unctuous head. In the nose, one can also smell the wonderful aromas that are released, such as aromas of fruit which develop during the brewing process and apricot. A trained nose will notice malty notes. The mouth is unexpected, dry flavours of caramel strike and are counterbalanced by the fine final bitterness. You can therefore have confidence in the quality of this beer. As a matter of fact, this beer perfectly marries with the cheeses directly produced in the abbey.Product #: 854stars, based on 12 reviewsRegular price: 1.81.8Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Brasserie DubuissonThe Pêche Mel’Bush (Peach) is one of the last additions to the Bush collection from the Belgian brewery Dubuisson. This beer flavoured with peaches has the particularity of featuring a stronger ABV than regular fruit beers. The ABV featured is 8.5%, which makes it closer to a triple beer than a fruit Lambic. This is explained by the kind of fermentation used here, that is to say top-fermentation allowing the beer to reach a much higher ABV than with spontaneous fermentation used to brew “Lambics” like Krieks. The Pêche Mel’Bush (Peach) is a clear beer pouring an orange to amber colour and topped by a rich head. It releases strong aromas of peach that completely hide the presence of hops and most of alcohol. In the mouth, one can notice the influence of malt and the predominant fruit and honey flavours of peach. Light bitterness can be perceived in the aftertaste.Product #: 16774stars, based on 8 reviewsRegular price: 2.52.5Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Brasserie BosteelsPoured in its design brand-name beer glass and its wooden base, the Kwak exists since 1791 and has established itself as a reference beer since then. Pauwel Kwak, the brewer creator of this beer, would be proud today! The associated beer glass, named the glass of the coachman, stands on the table with only a wooden base. This particularity, along with the great tasting qualities of the beer, has contributed to the worldwide fame enjoyed by the Kwak today. The Kwak is a Belgian beer pouring an amber to copper colour topped by a thick white head. The general aroma is sweet, one can smell scents of caramel, yeast, notes of fruits and spices. Its taste is also sweet, featuring fruity notes of plum and nuts along with hints of caramelized malts. This beer is therefore very sweet and easily drinkable, without being too sugary.
