Flying Dog BreweryThe Flying Dog Pale Ale by Flying Dog is a beer whose complixity comes from the numerous ingredients found in its recipe. It is brewed from malts “Carastan” and flavoured with American hops “Northern Brewer” and “Cascade”. Plus, it is hopped with fresh flowers of “Cascade” throughout the brewing process so that their flavouring action has more effect. It pours a nice orange-mahogany colour topped by a thin off-white head. This beer features sweet aromas with many citrus fruit notes and hints of hops. Brasserie Urthel Urthel Hop-it is a young beer, inspired by a Belgian lady brewer's voyage to the land of India Pale Ales and other strong hopped beers - the USA. Returning from her pilgrimage and very taken by what she had tasted, the brewer decided to produce a beer that would be, in its own right, a tribute to the hop. However, she wanted this brew to keep its Belgian identity despite being strongly influenced by American brewing techniques. So she created a beer using American hopping techniques but using three highly-respected European hops, along with a malt (Pils) from Eastern Europe. As a result, Urthel Hop-it has a palette of unique and very characteristic flavours. Pale blond in colour and capped with a medium white head, the Urhtel Hop-It releases hoppy and herbaceous aromas with a slightly floral notes. The aroma of the malt is barely perceptible on the nose. On the palate, the hops assert themselves powerfully. The flavours that develop on the palate are strong and flowery with a strong bitterness that lingers long. There are also hints of citrus and fruit, together with notes of caramelised malt that adds a light sweetness and gives balance to the brew. In conclusion, this is a rare beer in the family of Triple-hopped beers, an absolute must that should be tried by connoisseurs and fans of bitter brews. Cinema BrewersDancing Dirty is a cheeky Wheat Pale Ale by Amsterdam’s Cinema Brewers. Combining beer and our favorite cult movies, they proudly present their take on the 1987 cult classic Dirty Dancing with a juicy passionfruit experience. Light in alcohol but still full of flavour, a hazy gold colour and a puffy white head, the nose is a vibrant mix of passionfruit and pineapple tones.
