Saint StefanusBrewed at Belgium’s Saint Stefanus Monastery, St Stefanus is aged for 3 months before it is ready for sale. This aging gives it a ripe, spicy, fruity character that only improves with age. In fact, the monks recommend keeping it for up to 2 years – and the transformation is worth the wait.
Bright copper blonde with a puffy head, St Stefanus breathes classic clove-and-banana Belgian yeast, with big plummy cereal malts and a reviving alcohol presence that together make this Belgian Pale Ale sing.Product #: 21494stars, based on 10 reviewsRegular price: 3€3Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Saint StefanusSt. Stefanus is not your ordinary nectar. Made using three different yeasts and guaranteed unpasteurized, it is high-minded and big-hearted, both malty and hoppy with just a hint of vanilla. Its origins in the St Stefanus monastery near the city of Ghent make it a genuine Abbey Beer. This beautiful Belgian beer is decked out all in gold with modest orange undertones crowned with a dense, creamy white head. A refined and complex mix of caramel, coriander and subtle floral notes defines the nose while the flavour, at first mild and delicate, is quickly swept off in chants of heavenly malt leading to a bitter, spicy finish. A transcendent experience also available in 330 ml bottles!Product #: 21054stars, based on 2 reviewsRegular price: 6.9€6.9Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock
Saint StefanusSt. Stefanus Grand Cru is a Belgian golden beer that can be left to mature in the bottle for several months after purchase and thus develop elaborate and full-bodied flavours. Time has no effect on its appearance, an eternal cloudy gold topped with a creamy white halo. At nine months it develops into a fresh and balanced brew with fruity aromas of lemon and grapefruit rounded off with subtle tinges of herbs. Banana, peach, papaya and pineapple splash together on the palate before simmering down to a mildly bitter finish. Age brings greater complexity and maturity; at 36 months this St Stefanus comes fully into its own with a sophisticated dryness and sublime effervescence.Product #: 54043stars, based on 2 reviewsRegular price: 7.7€7.7Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock
