Product Description
XX Bitter is a lesson in bitterness. Be careful – you’re handling a hoppy bombshell! This beer, which has become the flagship brew of the young and enthusiastic De Ranke brewery, is dry-hopped to achieve the biting bitterness for which it is famous. This is achieved by adding fresh hop flowers during the brewing process so that they can fully develop their bitter character.
XX Bitter delivers powerfully flowery hops aromas that fill the nose, showing their colours right from the start.
The palate has more floral and citrus fruits tones, with grassy hops and a biting and extremely persistent bitterness, to finish with a mouthful of resinous hops.
The bitterness is extremely long on the palate and XX bitter is an ode to the hop flower, poured into a glass.
