Playful Belgian Pale Ale from the heart of historic Belgian
belgian pale ale
Honey blonde, lively carbonation
Fruity malt, woody, herbal, spicy scents
Fruity caramel malt, banana and clove yeast
Brugse Zot is a top-fermented artisanal Belgian Pale Ale, brewed by the De Halve Maan brewery in the historic centre of Bruges. Roughly translated, its name means the Bruges Fool or Jester after the colloquial name for the good burgers of Bruges, the Fools of Bruges.
Brewed to 6%, this bright blonde is capped with a fine white head and releases fine malt scents punctuated with spicy notes typical of Belgian yeasts.
The taste is also lightly malted before a surprising, lightly bitter finish creeps up on you, to make this a highly agreeable, well-rounded beer. And to make this the perfect gift, this 75cl bottle is now available with an attractive collectors tin.
