The flagship brew of theDubuisson brewery, beer lovers all over the world are constantly amazed by its powerful aromas and flavours. Its qualities are derived from the purity of water used, which is drawn up from directly beneath the brewery, and also from the yeast, which is still the same as it has been for 65 years.
In the glass, this Belgian beer displays magnificent shade of amber with subtle orange highlights. The beige head looks quite delicate. On the nose, the power of this beer can be fully discerned: Caramel, candied fruits and alcohol are all in evidence. In the mouth there is an initial pleasant maltiness before the candied fruits make their appearance. The overall balance is surprising, considering the degree of alcohol.
