Feel as if you were back on the sunny beaches and in the middle of a splendid Corsican landscape with this Pietra, the beer brewed in Corsica. Featuring a character worthy of a true Corsican, this Amber Pietra perfectly represents the traditions of the “Island of beauty”, as it is called in France, since it is brewed with a typical ingredient of the island: chestnut flour.
The latter is used as a supplement of the barley wine usually used for brewing the beer. The Pietra pours an amber colour topped by a thin head and offers malty aromas along with wooden scents and discreet notes of chestnut.
It features a strong aroma of hop on the palate. In the meantime, bitterness and dry sensation develop in the mouth. The Pietra can be poured in its glass for a better tasting.
