This Dutch beer pours a beautiful black robe topped by a quasi non-existent head. From the very moment we see it, we know how much character this beer has. In the nose, the complexity of the aromas is exquisite when you sense the roasted malt, chocolate and fine hopped notes along with a woody hint of vanilla. In the mouth, its force is disconcerting. The wooden impression takes more and more hold throughout the tasting which ends with a slight acidity. The finale is perfectly balanced with a roasted impression.
