In 1989, when a father and son set up a brewery in the north, not many believed they'd pull it off. Today, however, the Baron brewery produces some 200,000 bottles a year. This Saison Saint Médar Cuvée de Noël is characterised by its finesse and character.

It is a French beer that pours a deep brown colour with red highlights and a persistent head. The nose is of a remarkable aromatic complexity, mixing roasted malt, red fruit and plums. Round and fruity flavours lead to a bitter, hoppy finish.

This excellent Christmas beer will no doubt make you want to try the brewery's other beers. While on the subject, we can safely recommend the Saison Saint Médar Brune, another unknown gem!
