We knew that the American breweries were one of the most innovative in the world of beer. With its Black Ops, Brooklyn demonstrates it once again. This beer is aged during 5 months in a Woordford Reserve Bourbon barrel, then fermented with champagne yeasts, this Imperial Stout might have a great success on this side of the Atlantic!
This American beer has an intense black colour, topped by a fine persistent brown head. In the nose there is an amazing aromate palate with roasted malts and chocolates aromas, and also notes of Bourbon, vanilla and wood. In the mouth, this beer reveals a round body, Bourbon, vanilla, roasted malt and candied fruits flavours. Final is powerful, dry and roasted.
This Black Ops is a beer for real geeks. If you are a geek, you should enjoy this beer, just as you did with the Monster Ale.
