Page 24 Réserve Hildegarde Blonde is a craft Bière de Garde brewed by the young Saint Germain brewery in northern France. Launched in 2005, it rapidly achieved great success, and barely a year after its release, won Gold at the presitigious Paris Concours Général Agricole and Salon de l'Agriculture.
The brewery uses Flanders locally-sourced malt and hops, to earn "Saveur en Or" certification, which guarantees and promotes the regional products.
Page 24 Réserve Hildegarde Blonde has an appealing yellow, slightly cloudy appearance and a pleasant, aromatic and flowery hops bouquet, delivering fruity flavours, while the roundness malt gives an overall coherence.
The bitterness emerges to settle on the palate, making this is strong Bière de Garde an ideal aperitif or as accompaniment to regional dishes.
