A belligerent brew thrashed out in collaboration with US metal band Slayer
american amber ale
Copper with red undertones
Floral and spicy
Citrus with floral notes
Formed in the 1980s, Slayer is a world-famous thrash metal band from the USA and one of the "big four" thrash metal names alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax. When Swedish brewer Nils Oscar Company proposed creating a beer in their image, the group jumped at the idea and thus Slayer 666 Red Ale was born.
This Amber Ale is made with five different malts for a strong, double-bass underpinning. El Dorado and Mosaic hops add tone and character in pitch-perfect harmony.
Slayer 666 Red Ale pours shredded copper with red undertones and a rich, lasting beige head.
The aroma is marked by floral hops with riffs of red berries, a caramel chorus and spicy notes.
Bitter citrus, berries, hay and floral notes come together to form an edgy, aggressive flavour.
A great beer for metal fans and steely palates!
