A robust, aromatic and well-balanced blonde beer from Flanders
belgian pale ale
Gallodrome is famous in France for its boutiques dotted around the north of France. The shops sell a range of witty, well-designed t-shirts celebrating the region, often with lovingly self-deprecating humour.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Gallodrome has paired up with Brasseire du Pays Flamand to create this blonde Belgian Pale Ale based on traditional recipes of the region. They christened the beer La Fière, Proud, and quite rightly so.
Pouring an inviting copper-blonde, La Fière has fruity hops scents aplenty, evoking apricot and citrus with a light touch of honey, in fact not far off an IPA.
The taste is rounded and balanced, and sure to please hop-fans thanks to its fruity, floral flavours and bitter finish.
