Product Description
Brasserie Saint-Germain continues to impress with its new recipes, this time in the form of Page 24 Whisky Barrel Imperial Stout, part of its Barrel Series.
Pouring deep black, this Imperial Stout is capped by a fine, luxuriant sandy head. The aroma is a mix of coffee, chocolate, and dark malts, with a powerful alcohol note. There are also waves if dried fruit, grapes, and whisky scents.
On the tongue, the first impression is of the powerful alcohol note followed by coffee, caramel, chocolate, whisky, stewed fruit, and a soft tart note further back.
Carbonation is light, and the velvet texture and full-body make a perfect accompaniment to desserts.
