Abbaye des Rocs Spéciale Noël is a triple fermentation Christmas Beer , brewed in Belgium specially for the festive season.
This seasonal brew, is heavily malted, pouring cloudy mahogany beneath a compact beige head. It delivers soft, spicy aromas with hints of orange, caramel, toasted malt, and coriander. The hops and alcohol also make their presence known with fragrant herbal notes.
This complex beer reveals a wide range of flavours, with a dominant maltiness giving way to roasted grains, chocolate and toffee, followed by flavours evocative of macerated fruits and liqueur and hints of clove and coriander.
The combination of these different flavours leads to a sumptuous, lingering aniseed and liquorice finish.
