Birra del Borgo Day 2018 - La Dolce Birra
Continuing the success of its very own homegrown Beer Festival, Italy’s primo Craft Brewery Birra del Borgo is back once again. Now in its 13th year, for three days at the beginning of June, Birra del Borgo throws open its doors to the public for Birra Del Borgo Day 2018, a chance to show off the beating heart of this super-successful artisan brewery. And the best bit is HOPT is going to be there too.
HOPT loves a good beer festival as much as the next man and Birra del Borgo Day, from June 1-3 is one of the best, offering a great opportunity to find out what makes this craft brewery tick. Featuring 130 beers from 40 of the hottest names in international Craft Brewing there’s something for all tastes.
"HOPT loves a good beer festival"
We’re looking forward to testing some of the new beers that Birra del Borgo and their hand-picked list of invitees have got lined up for the coming year, that goes without saying. But most of all, this is our first beer festival as guests, and we’re really looking forward to meeting the most important thing of all: our customers.
As part of the festivities, we’ll have our own stand to share some of our favourite beers with you. We’ll be offering samples from diverse Craft Breweries like Mean Sardine, Sori Brewing, Goose Island and Sakiški? Alus. We’re also honoured to be running a Barrel Aged Beers workshop with our hosts on Saturday afternoon. And if that weren’t enough, we’ll be giving you the chance to win your own bodyweight in beer!

But it’s not all about the beer. Like any good beer summit, BdB 2018 offers much, much more. It’s also about the sights, the sounds, the smells, and the flavours, and BdB promises all of these in spades. From the live music and great food, and even kids entertainment (hey, we like to feel young from time to time), BdB has something for everyone.
"the welcome you’ll get when you arrive promises to be as warm as the late spring sunshine."
If you fancy flying down to the Eternal City for the weekend, why not rent a car and make your pilgrimage to the picturesque village of Borgorose. It’s only one hour’s drive east of Rome through some of the most stunning countryside you’ll find anywhere, and the welcome you’ll get when you arrive promises to be as warm as the late spring sunshine. See you there!
