Weyermann CaraMunich Type 3 is a deep amber coloured barley Malt with an EBC of 140-160 (53-60.5 Lovibond). It is designed for brewing darker brown beers such as Brown Ale, Dark Lager, Amber beer, Bock Beer, etc. Its equivalent from Malterie du Château is Crystal Malt 150 EBC.
Weyermann CaraMunich Type 3 is a German caramel Malt that can be used up to 10%. It gives your beer a copper colouring and accentuates the Malt character with its intense caramel and biscuit flavours.

Ideal storage conditions: clean, dry, cool place In order to maximise freshness, flavour and enzyme action, it is strongly recommended to use your CaraMunich Type 3 Malt within a maximum of 18-24 months of harvest, or 3 months if the Malt has been milled.
