Weyermann CaraBohemian is a deep amber coloured barley Malt with an EBC of 170-220 (64-83 Lovibond). It is designed for brewing Bohemian Lagers, Porters, and Stouts, as well as Bock, Dark Lager, and other styles.
It is a German special Malt that can be used up to 15% to give your beer an intense dark-copper brown colouring and hazelnut notes. It also gives a range of intense light and dark caramel flavours and fresh bread notes.
Weyermann Malts comply with ISO and HACCP standards. Furthermore, as well as complying with all government food standards and health regulations, their Malts conform to German laws on beer purity (reinheitsgebot).
Ideal storage conditions: clean, dry, cool place. In order to maximise freshness, flavour and enzyme action, it is strongly recommended to use your CaraBohemian Malt within a maximum 24 months (ideally 18 months) of harvest, or 3 months if the Malt has been milled.
