Cara Pilsen is the lightest of Belgian Malts. It gives a mash colour of 2.5-6.5 EBC.
This Malt gives a pronounced body to the beer, as well as a soft, biscuity flavour. Cara Pils Malt is mainly used for light beers to give volume to the head. It is particularly used in Pilsners, Lagers, Bocks, and light and low-alcohol beers.
A dosage of 5-10% is usual, but it can be added up to 40%.
You should store your Munich Light Malt in a cool dry place for a maximum of 24 months. If the Malt has been milled, it should be used within 3 months to ensure the maximum flavour.
