Munich Wheat Malt 15 is a great choice for dark beers including Weizenbocks, Dunkels, and Stouts
Munich Wheat Malt 15 is a Belgian Munich-style Wheat Malt. Its colouring is 14-18 EBC or 5.8-7.3 Lovibond. Its equivalent is Weyermann Dark Wheat Malt, with an EBC of 15-20 or 6.2-8.1 Lovibond.
This malt is commonly used for Weizenbock and Stout beers. It is also sometimes used in small amounts for Dark Ales to give more body and a more stable head.
The maximum recommended dosage is 30%.
This malt is similar to White Wheat Malt, remaining clear, but offering more flavour.
Munich Wheat Malt 15 is also great for brewing light, sparkling Ales.
You should store your Munich Wheat Malt in a cool dry place for a maximum of 15 months. If the Malt has been milled, it should be used within 3 months to ensure the maximum flavour.
