Brasserie du Pays FlamandAnostekéAnosteké
A recent creation by the enterprising Brasserie Du Pays Flamand, Anosteké is one of this young brewery's greatest successes! Released in 2010, this craft blonde beer was quick to win over beer enthusiasts in and around Lille with its high quality aromas and flavours. In line with current brewing trends, this beer is closely related to the IPA style. In this type of beer, hops play an important role because they are used in greater quantities than for other beers. This results in beers with a more pronounced bitterness, but which on the other hand release more flowery and fruity flavours. Anosteké Blonde pours a pale blonde, slightly golden colour in the glass. It has an inviting, thick, white head that lingers long in the glass. This gives off delicious flowery and fruity aromas, particularly evocative of citrus fruits. These are followed by equally intense flowery and fruity flavours, this time accompanied by a strong bitterness. This settles and lingers for a very long time on the palate. A wonderful beer that sets itself clearly apart from its French cousins by its very hoppy character. Anosteké is in fact the phonetic translation of "tot anoste keer", a Flemish expression meaning "until next time". And this beer couldn't be more aptly named, since each empty glass means it’s time for the next! Anosteké is the first French beer to have offset the CO2 emissions produced during its production and distribution. Try its little sister too: Anosteké Brune Imperial Stout!
Product #: 24854stars, based on 9 reviewsRegular price: 5.85.8Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: Nouveaux produitsen stock

The big difference is the type of yeast used – whereas Lagers tend to use top-fermentation varieties, Bière de Garde uses bottom-fermentation strains to give a classic banana and clove character.

Traditionally brewed in early spring, this traditional northern French style was kept to be drunk once the warmer weather had come.

Food pairings: With its rich, fruity, spicy character and big, generous malts, Bière de Garde is a classic match for succulent roast meats, and what could be more delicious than a slow-roast leg of lamb studded with garlic and coated with a rosemary, thyme and sea-salt rub! Brasserie de l'Abbaye du CateauVivat blonde - 33 clVivat blonde - 33 cl
A blond ‘Bière de Garde’ beer from the North of France. Vivat is a blond craft beer with golden hues. A regional beer par excellence, its name evokes the Flemish Vivat Flamand tradition, a celebration song sung at the end of a banquet in honour of a gracious host or newly-weds. Beyond its name, this is a beer that asserts its regionalism through its methods of production. In fact, this blond Vivat is brewed exclusively from pure barley malt, brewed in the old way, with dry hopping and a skimming of hop flowers done by hand in an open fermentation tank! All these specificities also give this beer a greater richness and aromatic complexity. Vivat blonde pours a blond colour with golden highlights covered with a creamy, delicate head. Vibrant, floral notes break free from this foamy head. On the palate, it has a sharp, fresh attack that gives way to the extreme delicacy of notes of citrus and herbs present on the palate. Nice balance between roundness and freshness, with great persistence and an always-optimal development of some flavoursome secondary aromas of yesteryear. Amazing richness in grains giving a sensation of fullness and lightness. Vivat Blonde is a particularly thirst-quenching beer. Tasting: A pleasant, essentially fruity beer, whose harmony invites you to prolong the pleasure. Can be drunk at any time. Using a tulip glass lets you fully appreciate the drink’s freshness. Vivat is quite gassy and requires a high collar to allow the bubbles to escape.
Product #: 45stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 2.72.7Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: Nouveaux produitsen stock
