Baladin’s Teo Musso is widely reckoned to be one of the world’s finest Master Brewers, and his Grand Reserve Xyauyu Fumé one of the most exquisite brews you’ll find anywhere.

Aged slowly in Islay single-malt whisky barrels, this superb brew from Piozzo, Italy is truly a thing of beauty.

Pouring handsome chestnut brown beneath a lacy tan head, you’ll be assailed by a bouquet full of sweet raisin, fig, and dates, with a thick smoky, peaty whisky character further down in the mix.

The thick, slick full-bodied palate paints a similar picture, with candied fruit, plums, tobacco and old leather, and more of that sinfully smoky whisky character that transforms this beer to an almost spiritual experience.
